One of our clients, a highly reputable and prominent organization, is currently seeking an experienced Microsoft System Engineer to join their team.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant IT support role.
- Level 3 experience in Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, and Windows Server administration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft best practices and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Mimecast for email security and management.
- Experience with Crowdstrike EDR for endpoint threat detection and response.
- Experience with Netskope for cloud security and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure certifications)
Job Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 and Azure Administration:
o Manage and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions within Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
o Configure and administer various Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams) to meet the needs of the organization.
o Provision and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and databases. o Implement and maintain security best practices within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Active Directory and Identity Management:
o Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and permissions.
o Ensure Active Directory synchronization with Azure Active Directory for seamless user experience across
cloud and on-premises resources.
• Security & Compliance:
o Manage and maintain Microsoft Sentinel to proactively monitor for threats and security incidents. o Configure and manage Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and application security.
o Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard the organization’s data and systems.
• Windows Server Administration:
o Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, and updates.
o Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate effectively with other IT team members and business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
o Provide clear and concise communication regarding technical issues and solutions.
