One of our clients, a highly reputable and prominent organization, is currently seeking an experienced HSE officer to join their team.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • ADNOC approval/certification is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with ADNOC standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors, emphasizing accident prevention and emergency response procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure compliance with HSE requirements during project planning, execution, and shutdown activities.
  • Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems prior to work commencement.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions control, and pollution prevention measures.
  • Prepare and submit HSE reports and statistics to management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and exercises, evaluating response effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to HSE management.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization, promoting continuous improvement in HSE performance.
